The Arequipa Walking City Tour is the perfect way to discover the historical, cultural, and architectural heritage of the famous White City of Arequipa. During this walking tour, you will explore the most important attractions of the historic center, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, while admiring its impressive volcanic stone architecture.You will visit iconic landmarks such as the Main Square, the magnificent Arequipa Cathedral, the historic Church of the Society of Jesus, the traditional San Camilo Market, the Andean Sanctuaries Museum where the famous Juanita mummy is displayed, and the remarkable Santa Catalina Monastery.This approximately 5-hour tour has an easy difficulty level and takes place at an altitude of around 2335 m / 7,661 ft, making it an excellent option for travelers who wish to explore Arequipa’s main attractions on foot with a professional guide.

At 08:00 hrs, we will pick you up from your accommodation and begin a walking tour through the main attractions of Arequipa’s Historic Center. Our first stop will be the iconic Main Square, where we will admire the impressive Arequipa Cathedral and the city’s beautiful volcanic stone architecture.
We will continue to the historic Church of the Society of Jesus, including its cloisters and the beautiful San Ignacio Chapel. Afterwards, there will be an optional visit to the traditional San Camilo Market, one of the most representative markets in the city.
The tour continues to the Andean Sanctuaries Museum, home of the famous Juanita Mummy. We will also visit the elegant Tristan del Pozo Mansion, San Francisco Square, and finally the spectacular Santa Catalina Monastery, one of the most important religious complexes in Peru.
At approximately 13:00 hrs, the tour will end and the guide will say goodbye, allowing participants to return to their hotels on foot.
