The Classic Sacred Valley of the Incas Tour is a full-day excursion from Cusco to discover some of the region’s main archaeological sites and scenic viewpoints. Along the way, you will visit the Taray Viewpoint, the Pisac Archaeological Site, and the impressive Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo.
The experience includes a buffet lunch in Urubamba and transportation during the tour. Hotel pickup begins at 7:20 a.m., and the excursion lasts approximately 12 to 13 hours, with arrival in Cusco around 6:30 p.m. The altitude provided for the tour is approximately 2,700 m / 8,858 ft.
At 7:20 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and head toward the Sacred Valley of the Incas, enjoying the Andean scenery along the way. Our first stop will be the Taray Viewpoint, where you can admire panoramic views of the valley.
We will then continue to the Pisac Archaeological Site, known for its agricultural terraces and Inca structures. Next, we will travel to the town of Urubamba for a buffet lunch featuring regional dishes.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo, one of the main archaeological complexes in the Sacred Valley. After the visit, we will return to Cusco. Arrival is scheduled for approximately 6:30 p.m., with drop-off near the Plaza de Armas.
