The Luxury Cusco, Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley 7-Day Package combines culture, archaeology, nature and high-altitude hiking in a 7-day, 6-night program. During the journey, you will visit Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Moray, the Maras Salt Mines, Chinchero, Machu Picchu, the main attractions of Cusco, Humantay Lake and Rainbow Mountain Vinicunca.
The program includes the Vistadome train to and from Machu Picchu, a private guide in Spanish or English, hotels, private transportation, entrance tickets, buffet breakfasts and the lunches specified in the program. The experience reaches a maximum altitude of 5040 m / 16,535 ft during the Vinicunca excursion, combining cultural visits with high-altitude activities.
Note: The Vinicunca excursion reaches an altitude above 5000 m / 16,400 ft. Trail conditions may vary depending on weather and local conditions on the day of the visit.
We will begin your experience with airport pickup in Cusco and a private transfer to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Along the route, we will visit an Andean space where you may observe representative species of the region, depending on the site’s availability.
We will then continue to Pisac, one of the main archaeological centers in the Sacred Valley. After the guided visit and lunch, you will be transferred to your hotel in the Sacred Valley to rest and acclimatize.
After breakfast, we will begin a private tour of some of the main attractions in the Sacred Valley. We will visit Ollantaytambo, an ancient Inka center characterized by its terraces, stone structures and traditional streets.
We will then continue to the Maras Salt Mines, where numerous salt pools are distributed along the mountain slopes. We will also visit Moray, known for its distinctive circular terraces. Finally, we will visit Chinchero, an Andean town known for its textile traditions and cultural heritage.
After the visits, we will return to the hotel in the Sacred Valley.
Early in the morning, our private transportation will take you to the train station to board the Vistadome train to Aguas Calientes. During the journey, you will enjoy panoramic windows and views of the Sacred Valley, mountains and the Vilcanota River.
Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, we will take the bus to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Inside the citadel, you will enjoy a private guided visit through the areas corresponding to the circuit indicated on your ticket, with explanations about its history, architecture and cultural significance.
After the tour, you will return to Aguas Calientes for the included lunch. In the afternoon, you will board the return train to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, our private transportation will take you to your hotel in Cusco.
Note: The Machu Picchu visit circuit is subject to ticket availability at the time of booking. For 2026, the Ministry of Culture includes Circuit 2 among the official visitor routes.
After breakfast, we will explore the imperial city of Cusco. We will visit Cusco Cathedral, Qorikancha and the main archaeological sites near the city, including Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay, accompanied by a private guide.
This day is designed to explore Cusco’s history at a comfortable pace while enjoying Inka and colonial architecture, urban landscapes and the cultural importance of the former capital of the Inka Empire.
Early in the morning, we will begin the excursion to Humantay Lake. We will travel to Mollepata for breakfast and then continue to Soraypampa, the starting point of the hike.
From Soraypampa, we will begin the ascent to the lake, surrounded by high-Andean landscapes and mountain views. Humantay Lake is located at approximately 4200 m / 13,780 ft above sea level.
Upon arrival, you will have time to rest, take photographs and enjoy the scenery. We will then descend to Soraypampa for lunch before returning to Cusco.
Note: The hike takes place at high altitude. Consider your personal physical condition and acclimatization before undertaking this excursion.
Early in the morning, we will leave Cusco to begin the excursion to Rainbow Mountain, Vinicunca. The route crosses high-Andean landscapes and areas where llamas and alpacas can commonly be seen.
From the trailhead, we will begin the hike toward Vinicunca. The route takes place at high altitude, and the mountain rises above 5000 m / 16,400 ft; PromPerú’s tourism information indicates that Vinicunca is located above 5000 meters.
Upon reaching the main viewpoint, you will have time to rest, take photographs and enjoy the landscape. We will then begin the return journey for lunch before traveling back to Cusco.
Note: Vinicunca is located above 5000 m / 16,400 ft. The hike requires preparation for high-altitude conditions, and trekking poles can help during the ascent and descent.
According to your flight schedule, our private transportation will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport in Cusco.
