Luxury Cusco and Machu Picchu 6-Day Trip

After breakfast, we will begin a private tour of some of the most representative places in the Sacred Valley. Our first stop will be Ollantaytambo, an ancient Inka center characterized by its large terraces, stone structures and streets that preserve part of their traditional layout.

We will then continue to Moray, known for its distinctive circular terraces carved into the terrain. Afterwards, we will visit the Maras Salt Mines, where numerous salt pools are distributed along the mountain slopes.

Finally, we will reach Chinchero, an Andean town known for its textile traditions and important cultural heritage. After the visits, we will return to the hotel in the Sacred Valley.

This day will be dedicated to Machu Picchu. Early in the morning, we will transfer you to the appropriate station to board the Vistadome train to Aguas Calientes. During the journey, you can enjoy views of the Sacred Valley, mountains and the Vilcanota River through the train’s panoramic windows.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, we will continue by bus to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Inside the citadel, you will enjoy a private guided visit covering important historical, architectural and cultural aspects of the site.

Admission will be through the circuit available according to ticket availability, considering Circuit 2 when available. After the visit, we will return to Aguas Calientes for the included lunch.

In the afternoon, we will board the return train to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, our private transportation will continue to your hotel in Cusco.

After breakfast, we will enjoy a cultural tour of Cusco, the former capital of the Inka Empire. We will visit some of the main archaeological attractions in and around the city, including Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay.

Accompanied by a private guide, you will learn about different aspects of Cusco’s history, Inka architecture and the transformation of the city during the colonial period.

The tour combines archaeological heritage, culture and history. After the visit, we will return to your hotel in Cusco.

Early in the morning, we will leave Cusco to begin our excursion to Humantay Lake, located in the district of Mollepata. We will travel to Mollepata, where we will have breakfast before continuing to Soraypampa, the starting point of the hike.

From Soraypampa, we will begin the ascent to the lake. The hike from Soraypampa to Humantay Lake takes approximately 1 hour according to the official tourism inventory. The lake is located at 4200 m / 13,780 ft above sea level, at the foot of Humantay Mountain and within the landscape of Apu Salkantay.

Upon reaching Humantay Lake, you will have time to rest, take photographs and enjoy the high-mountain scenery. We will then descend to Soraypampa and continue with lunch. Finally, we will travel back to Cusco.

After breakfast, you will have free time according to your flight schedule. At the coordinated time, our private transportation will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport in Cusco.
