Inca trail 2 Days


The short Inca Trail 2 days 1 night to Machu Picchu is an alternative option of the normal Inca Trail 4 days, so it is not very tired and it is faster! It combines beautiful mountain landscapes and incredible panoramic views.

  • Día 1: Cusco – Km. 104 – Wiñayhuayna – Aguas Calientes.
  • Día 2: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes – Cusco


Día 1: Cusco – Km. 104 – Wiñayhuayna – Aguas Calientes.

  • 04:00 hrs. We will pick up our passengers to go on our tourist transport to the town of Ollantaytambo with an approximate travel time of 2 hours, where we will board our train that will take us to Km. 104.
  • At km. 104 we will start our walk, after making our registration in the control we will visit the archaeological site of Chachabamba (2100 masl), then we will continue our tour for 4 hours until we reach Wiñayhuayna (2600 masl).
  • In Wiñayhayna we will have our lunch (box lunch), then we continue for 2 hours until we reach Puerta del Sol, where we will have the first views of the Inca city, we will continue for about 40 more minutes and we will arrive at Machupicchu where we will take the traditional photo.
  • Then we will board the bus to the town of Aguas Calientes to go to our hotel and our dinner respectively.

Day 2: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes – Cusco.

  • The guided tour in Machu Picchu will be 2 hours, where we will visit important places such as the Temple of the Sun, the Casa del Inca, among others; Then they will have free time to continue with the visit on their own.
  • Later we will back to the town of Aguas Calientes to take our return train to Ollantaytambo and then take our transportation to the city of Cusco and end of the Inca trail trek 2 days 1 night.
