Millpu Turquoise Waters

07:40 hrs. We will pick you up from your hotel near Ayacucho’s Main Square to begin our journey toward Millpu.

11:30 hrs. After approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes of travel, we will arrive at Patacocha, a rural community of Circamarca located in the district of Huancaraylla, Víctor Fajardo Province. After a short stay, we will begin an approximately 20-minute hike toward the first Millpu pools.

11:50 hrs. We will arrive at the Millpu Turquoise Waters, where we can admire the natural pools formed by the Millpu River along the canyon. The attraction is located in the Suni natural region, with altitudinal zones extending approximately from 3,600 to 3,950 m above sea level.

We will continue uphill for approximately 15 minutes along a zigzag path to reach the Millpu Viewpoint, where we can observe the succession of natural pools. We will then descend to the shore to take photographs. Entering the pools is prohibited by municipal regulations.

We will then return along the same path to the main trail and continue walking for approximately 20 minutes until reaching the Millpu Spring.

15:00 hrs. We will return to Patacocha, where you will have time to have lunch on your own. Lunch is not included in the tour.

20:00 hrs. We will arrive in Ayacucho, approximately one block from the Main Square.
